I have been posting about the
Mara Triangle crisis since early March after it became known that the collapse of tourism and lost revenue due to post-election violence in Kenya had placed wildlife in great peril from poaching.

Joseph Kimojino, head of tourism and anti-animal harassment for the Mara Conservancy has been writing a blog about the work of the rangers to protect wildlife in the Mara during this period.

Please read his most recent post as it is provides us with a quite stunning portrait of life in the Mara with all its perils during the migration season.
