National Geographic Video features Elephant Nature Park

March 26, 2008
From National Geographic News

This excellent video features the work of Lek and Elephant Nature Park in Thailand and covers the horrendously cruel conditions for working elephants in that country.

Jokia, the elephant rescued from logging who was blinded in both eyes by her mahouts, is featured in her new life at the sanctuary as is her friendship with Mae Perm, the sanctuary's 89 year-old elephant.
